help with my playstation 3 online (evil company battlefield)?
I just bought a PS3 and I connected to my router (with cable, not wireless) and everythings fine (including pstore and the Web browser) until you try to play online on the battlefield. when I go to multiplayer and ranked, is looking for a game and then said he can not connect. I tried to go directly to my modem and it worked, so I know its my router (Netgear WGR614v4) I have NAT type 2, which is fundamentally more open type of firewall on the router. and tried to open all ports recommended, but it does not help (yes, I also tried DMZ) Please help! no luck so far. I'm not the PlayStation 3 and PC static IP, but no help. THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!!!!!
Obviously not set the PS3 to a static IP address. A good router does not redirect ports to a dynamic IP address (because it makes no sense.) Try http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Netgear/WGR614v4/Battlefield_2.htm (replace the port you need the BBC). Follow all instructions, especially the summit on the static IP address.
